Think About His Love

This past Sunday at church the closing chorus was “Think about His Love” and I got all teary eyed…

Think about His love
Think about His goodness
Think about His grace that’s brought us through
For as high as the heavens above
So great is the measure of our Father’s love
Great is the measure of our Father’s love

It was mostly the line of “His grace that’s brought us through”. We’ve been dealing with our random stuff these past few weeks/months. But we are good. We know we are blessed beyond measure and know that God is in control of everything. God’s grace really has brought us through. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving with friends and family and tonight we are counting our blessings. This year we are extremely grateful for our amazing family and friends. We know that no matter what life hands us, we will prevail as we are surrounded by a whole lotta love. We can’t begin to put into words our thanks for our family and friends for covering us in prayer over the past few months, for letting us know they are covering us in prayer, for checking on us via email & text messages & phone calls, for providing multiple sounding boards, for dinners and lunches to talk, and for just “being”. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for loving us.

And because we are counting our blessings “one by one”… Thank you Sam, Dulcy, Jamie, Jared, Robert, Jana, Brad, Rachel, Tara, Shelby, Jared, Stephanie, John, Eric, Bonnie, Grace, Josh, Brian, Mike, Chinh, Jim, Ron, Phil, Sean, Brad, Sean, Heather, Lil, Christy, Jenny, Melissa, Lana, Karen, Katie, Lindsay, Tori, all our BFG at 10:30, and all those we don’t know of. Most of you will never read this, but we will remember.

  1. Great song. And great post to remind us all of what we have to be thankful for. I hope y’all have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Oops. I guess you might be wondering who “me” is. haha! “Me” is what I use when I’m commenting on my mama’s blog. I didn’t realize it still said that. :o)
