Labor Day Weekend at Broken Bow

We took advantage of our three day weekend to check out a new lake – Broken Bow. It was beautiful – in a national forest with tons of trees and crystal clear water. There weren’t too many other boaters out on the lake which was pretty amazing considering it was a holiday weekend… could have been because there was rain in the forecast. In fact, we did get off the lake early on Saturday due to thunder and lightening, but made up for it with a long and leisurely day  on Sunday.  Maybe I shouldn’t write nice things about Broken Bow so as to keep the number of boaters down?  (And, the Oatmeal Crispies and Pecan Praline Crunch went over very well!)
